A few days ago, I asked Tokyo Mew Mew fans to ”Give me a REAL reason why Ichigo should be with Kisshu instead of Masaya.” I promised a rebuttal in the tags, and here it is.
The problem with Kisshu is that he is so infatuated with Ichigo to the point of obsession, it is unhealthy. One tumblr user put it best:
There is none. He is an amazing character, but sadly also abusive as hell. I love him, butt bein with him = unahealthy
Another user stated that a Ichigo/Kisshu relationship would be “more exciting” because of his “inner turmoil”. But if Ichigo chose the nice guy over the angsty one, why does he come under fire? In fact, why does everybody in fandoms go for “bad boys”? (not criticizing Shugo Chara fans, if you take this the wrong way.) Shouldn’t the “nice guy” win for once?
